The Blurb Of Breathtaking

To the outside world, Cara’s life seems perfect. The only one who knows the dark secrets inside her home is her best friend and next-door neighbor, Adam. Cara’s only escape is by writing and sharing her stories with him through their facing bedroom windows late at night. Just when everything seems to get better, Cara’s world shatters, causing her to spiral into a deep depression and writer’s block. Even though Adam promises her “everything will be okay,” she knows things will never be the same. As she clutches to the fractured wounds of the past, how will Cara ever be able to love or write again? Breathtaking is a heart-wrenching coming-of-age story that fans of John Green and Nicholas Sparks will love.

…I have never had a book make me cry – till I read Breathtaking…

Christy Warren – Contributing Host of Spotlighting the Indie Author

…I loved Breathtaking and think it needs to be read by everyone because it is a fabulous book that contains an important message…

Kelli Winkler – Announcer/Co-Host Sub of Spotlighting the Indie Author

…As far as a man’s point of view, the book will surprise any male who picks it up… I found myself trying to imagine what I would do if I was in Adams shoes and later in the book in Reid’s position…Guy’s don’t be afraid to read this amazing tale, if you do you’ll missing a great book. Breathtaking will broaden your horizons and make you think about things that you never have. Don’t be surprised if you catch yourself wiping a tear from your cheek…

Joseph Clay – Host of Spotlighting the Indie Author

…I like the way Breathtaking tackles real life issues that include, Alcoholism, Compulsive disorders, and Bulling along with Terminal illness. The novel also brings to the forefront the importance of organ donation, which is a subject not often talk about…My favorite line in the book sums up the story well and reads. “So despite their mutual interest they agreed to tell so many nothings, which slowly turned into all the everything’s.” from Breathtaking by Courtney Turcotte Bond…I know it’s early in the year but I’m not afraid to say this is and will be the best book of 2021…
